Okay, my cat Thomas has just been sitting around in the house for a few days doing absolutely nothing. Being in Southern California, I thought it was just the heat. Now he's starting to bleed out of no where though, and it's starting to scare me. It's not a snake bite or any common feline illness, because I've checked a few sites. Does anyone know what's going on with my poor cat? Those are the only syptoms. He's going into the vet tommorow for an examination, but I'd really like to have an idea about what I might be up against. Please help: any information would be useful. I've had him for almost ten years, and even though he's annoying and a pain in the a**, I still love him. Animal lovers...you know what I mean!

TAKE YOUR CAT TO THE FREAKING VET!! NO ONE ON HERE CAN SEE YOUR CAT IN PERSON...THEY MORE THAN LIKELY ARE NOT A VET...WHICH MEANS THEY DO NOT HAVE THE SCHOOLING AND RESOURCES A VET DOES.

sounds like flees or maybe worms?
wash the cat in a tub of water and some dawn dish detergent in the water more dawn then average to water what happen so I heard is that flees can breath under water by a wax that they can use off of there body to form an air bubble to get air from

but dawn detergant desolves the wax and the wax on the flees's body and they drown in the water

but the vet will know more then me when kitty goes in

Okay now listen carefullly, if he's starting to bleed he needs to be seen NOW! This isn't something that can wait, he could very easily die. Call and see if the vet can see him right now, some vets will see animals on emergency situations and it might cost you a bit more, but if they can't please go to an emergency animal clinic immediatley. They are open all night and will see right away. Call your local emergency animal clinic and tell them what is going on and ask them if it can wait. PLEASE. They can tell you if he needs to be seen right now or if he can wait till his appointment.
