If you were seeing someone for only 2months, and was about to finally give your relationship a title of ( boyfriend and girlfriend) but the person you are seeing is about to go to Iraq for a whole year. Would you wait for them or would you move on and see other people.
If you and this person had some much in common and everytime you do something that person is on your mind. You think that you have finally found the person you've been waiting for.
Would you really wait for that person to return or what?

Thats a no brainer. Even if you move on that other person will always be on your mind. Stick w/ it it will be worth it down the road.

Wait for what? If you two really have something special, a year or so apart is no big deal.
Should you sit at home and do nothing while he's away? No. Go out with other people, just so you can be sure that he IS the right one.
Don't end this relationship if you really care for him, just put it on hold.

Wow, a year, and you've only been seeing each other two months..... I guess it is a personal choice, but I'd tell the person that a relationship would be impossible to keep up when one person is going to be gone for a whole year, but when he/she comes back, you'd like to pick up where you left off.

i am going through the same situation...my girl and i have been together for 7 months before we were physically serrated and are willing to wait for a whole year due to the feelings in the both of us. i think if you feel that strong about this special person, that you should wait. find a way to reassure that he will not do anything to disrespect you and that he is coming back to you and only you!

of course i would if i new for a fact he would do the same 4 me. hey just remember everything happens for a reason if u guys r meant 2 b and u were made 4 eachother nothin can hold u guys back.

Marry him. This is going to sound horrile cold... but if you're married and he dies the military will support you for the rest of your life. If he's just your boyfriend and he dies... you go through all that heartache for nothing.
Marry him. Or move on. Don't wait.
