Luke 4:8
And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”(dont worship or serve jesus!)
Mark 10:18
And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.
(NOT HIM GOD ALONE)nuts!
No man is everywhere and knows everything, neither does god for if god knew all he would know your sin! Therefore you could not chose whether to go to heaven or go to hell. CUZ GOD KNOWs IN ADVANCE! or how else would he know how to make the univere from nothing but himself unless he knew all! once again nuts!

Jesus never set a time to when he will return,

whats 'quickly' to God ,he created EVERYTHING, he been here forever

it also explains in the bible that Gods time is not the same as ours,
a blink of his eye could be a hundred years down here.

Jesus is sitting on the right side of our Heavenly Father. One day is as a thousand years to God, so only God knows when Jesus is going to return....not even the angels who are in Heaven knows when our Lord will return for His children. I just know that HE is coming back! I believe His return is very soon!

Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God. Who knows when He's coming back, in the meantime live your life as Jesus would want you to. Maybe He meant He would be here in a instant when the time is come, not that he will come in a certain period of years.

i still look to the east and believe it could be any day now. it's hard to explain why i believe it but i really do.

for not being down with him, i wonder why you have big enough feelings on this issue to ask a question like this. you know some scripture....have you believed in the past and now changed your mind because of something in the past?

the bible also says that to god a day is like thousand years, so "quickly" to him is pretty different than it is to us.

i really think that most of the time people who ask cynical questions about jesus are asking because they are hoping to find out somehow that he truly does exist. keep your eyes open and he will reveal himself to you. if you are a seeker he has promised that he can be found.

Stop trying to speed up Judgement Day. Especially if you're unsaved. Jesus WILL come quickly, like a "thief in the night", to those who aren't watching for his return in these last days. Don't worry. it's almost time for his arrival. Look at the chaotic times we live in. This is all a prelude to his return. I suggest that you do a little soul-searching within yourself, with God, and ask for salvation.

The question is ...... are you really ready for him to come back? His timing is merciful. Waiting patiently for people to to give their lives to him. We all will bow, now or later. It's better to do it now!
As for where Jesus is, at the right hand of the father.

Actually man, it hasn't been 2,000 years. Jesus died on the cross in his 30s. Thus, according to the 2,000 year theory of yours, he still has some time yet. (The 2030's haven't been here yet). :)

Jesus is everywhere. He knows everything and sees everything. I think the end (rapture) will be here before we know it.
