If you want to up your energy level, stay away from the meats and protiens. You want hard carbs for energy. I suggest boiling up some spaghetti and chase it with some garlic bread.

Carbs for immediate energy, protein to build muscle tissue. Skip the meat, eat an egg or drink some milk, both digested faster than meat.
