I hope I am allowed three, because I want to mention all three.

Charly Childress who taught me history in high school. He was not only a good teacher and mentor, but a good friend to many of us. Turned out he was gay and eventually lost his teaching position. No, he never made any advances toward me, but answered my letters when i was having a hard time my first year in college.

Hugh Johnson, who was a college mathematics teacher, who taught me calculus and differential equations. He was demanding and had high expectations, and had a way of breaking everything down to a simplicity that I have experienced in no other teacher.

Pat Fuller, who was my adult Sunday School teacher. She walked the walk and talked the talk, too. She also was my best friend for a number of years before her death. She was just so real and not just focused on pie in the sky.

Yes my Religion (Catholic High School) Teacher Mr. Shannon

He didn't think he should have to give TESTS so during a TEST he would allow you to use your book. If you didn't get an A in his class that was your fault!!! LOL
