You can report this incident as animal abuse to your local law enforcement agency.

why did your neighbor kick your dog? Is the dog hurt?

You could call the police, if there is not chance of you two working this out between yourselves.

What did your dog do and are you a responsible dog owner? Your dog should not be near the neighbor, if the neighbor has the potential to hurt it. Was your dog trying to bite??

sorry for the experience in america the home of the brave
some how americans have lost compasion and some of the american people do not have any respect for others. But back to your question do you have a leash law what kind of dog is it you own and did you call the local police. Any time you have a problem never hesitate to call your city police or county sheriff office for help. That is what they are here for to keep peace and formost your safety and your property.

Kicking a dog is unacceptable. There are too many details missing from your incident description so we can understand why that happened. If your dog was loose and annoying or terrorizing your neighbor, maybe he was kicking in self-defense. If your neighbor was at your house and kicked it, you could have told him off. This is what you do: keep your dog away from the neighbor.

The fact is animals even in America don't have rights. You can't do any thing but report him. But there really is no point in reporting it unless you have proof that they kicked your dog. If you get it on video that would be proof. That's about the only to prove that.

If you're sure he did it, call the police. However, the police might not be able to help you without evidence. They always ask, "Do you have any evidence that he did it?" (Saying that you saw him is not enough. You would have to videotape the guy kicking your dog to get any results from the police.)

If you have any chance to talk to your neighbor, tell him nicely not to do it again. If he then gets violent on you, then you can call the police on him.

Wow. call the police? That would be the first clue! There are laws in the U.S. that are quite strict against animal cruelty. call the ASPCA or local police and they will send somebody out. He deserves to be punished. Too bad your dog was not big enough to take a chunk out of him. I hate people who are cruel to animals! Everyone should gang up and kick him one to see how he feels!

Tell your neighbor if they ever raise another foot to your dog you're going to plant your foot up their ***! If they have a problem with your dog then they should come and talk to you. I understand you want to be a good American, the problem is there is no such thing. Oh, it does pay to have a fence or perhaps a chain.

okay, did you say your neighbor kicks YOUR dog??
Oh my the fight would be on..... that is your dog! Don't let ANYONE mistreat your dog. You see them do that you scream at them "Don't you ever touch my dog again or I will report you to the police!!" In america people go to jail and/or get huge fines for that stuff it's called animal abuse. Don't ever let anyone mistreat your pets and they can't mistreat their own either.

Try to get along with your neighbour. While you could report each other, its best to talk to him to settle a dispute over a pet such as loud barking or your pet being off a leash or him kicking it. I phone the city many times to complain about my neigbour and it would help for a few days. Finally, I just went over and talked to her and I've never heard the dog since. Now she even brings me over BBQ food and I help her with her gardening.

I know what this from, but if someone kicked my dog in real life though they would regret it. Hey would have torn off they're leg and they would call police. If you don't think so, come kick my 116 pound German Shepherd and see if he likes it.
