My 16th birthday is in September. I really don't know what I would like to do..My parents cna't go 'ALL OUT', because of money and also its right when school starts and everyone is busy. I've never really had a b'day party, my recent birthdays consisted of chinese food, and watching DVD's withmy family, whic I have no problem with, I just wanted my 16th to be something alittle more exciting...lol So any ideas?

how about the drive-in movies with about six of your friends, and your family. You can bring food, hang out, watch movies, but outside, and sometimes they can announce your birthday over the station. I like incorporating your friends in with your family.

You could also pick one or two close friends and go to a spa for treatments followed by a really cool brunch at some cute cafe.

or you could really do something special, and get some friends and family together and throw a party for a terminally ill child at a hospital, or do some kind of charity work as a group. I like this idea the best as it has the most internal reward, and the longest lasting effect. It really would make your 16th a day you will remember.

Simply getting your friends together would be a great party. Shouldn't cost much, just a little for food. If possible, have it at a pool or beach/lake outdoors so you don't have to pay to rent a place. Or a sleepover would be fun, go to a movie first, come home to snacks and music and stay up all night. If everyone is busy because school is starting, or whatever, just postpone it to a time when more of your friends are available.

Sleep over with your closest friends. Stay up all night and watch DVD's and pig out. That's what I done and it made my b-day so much more special because I had all the people I loved the most my family and my closest friends. It was a blast, except my dad was in Iraq at the time so really it was the best it could be. And we built up some very good and special memories that night. Good Luck. And Happy early B-day.

You could just throw a cool get together at your house. Decorate the place, play some music.. And cook some food. You can do a lot of other things to, like play games or whatev. If your house isnt big enough ask one of your closer friends. Or do something smaller, like go out to dinner with a couple friends, and fam. there are a lot of cheap ways without going over boarddd!!

For my 16th b-day, i had a party at my house, then we went bowling- to get away from it all (my family was at the house) and we came back to eat and then we went into my room and talked.

it was my first actually b-day party that i invited my friends so it was cool. Usually i just have my family, aunts, and uncles.

Why dont you and a few of your closest friends go bowling, skating, shopping, out to eat, to the movies...whatever. I'd say have a small bday party at a bowling alley. Reserve a few lanes for u and your friends. :) maybe? tell me what u think

just a thought -- maybe go out with your friends and watch a live comedy show. If you can get into see an improv show, sometimes it's audience participation, which can be kind of fun.

Enjoy!
