Hi, i'm Doodlewomp and my friends have told me a lotta animal abuse stories and whenever i hear one i start crying, i cant help it i'm a major animal lover and it's just to sad....are people jsut stupid or something? do they like to torture animals? i'm really depressed right now because my friend just told me a story about a little baby kitty that got killed because of a guy got jealous of the owner so it grabbed the kittens neck and cracked it *sobs* i'm really sad why do people have to do this!

i'm lucky my cats are safe and havent been tortured. i just hope your pets...i mean everyones pets are gonna be safe i'm afraid that it might happen to me...this has never happened to any of my friends or people i know...
i hope that little kitten had a happy life before it was....*sigh* abused....
the story was "In September 1999, DiGiacomo and Lucas responded to a complaint of animal abuse in Brooklyn, New York. The individual who reported the abuse, Ruth*, told the investigators that her boyfriend, John*, had given her a little gray kitten - not more than eight weeks old - as a gift. The kitten, named Tinkerbell, was "so small that she fit in the palm of your hand," says DiGiacomo. But John quickly became jealous of all the attention Ruth was giving the cat. When one day Ruth refused his sexual advances, John snapped. In a rage, he snapped Tinkerbell's neck in half, killing her instantly. He threw the kitten's body at Ruth's feet and shouted, "Next time it will be you!"

well, as we all know there are some very wierd phsyco people in this world. and i think that when people abuse animals, they aren't in there right state of mind. like for an example: lets say.. a man was sooo mad that his wife cheated on him.(he probably wasn't in very good shape) and he had a cat. he was soo furious that he wanted to take his anger out on something but he didn't know what. then he saw his cat. so then he took his cat and started throwing it around and hitting it. but doing that just made him more mad. i hate people like that and i hope that they go to hell for what they did! animals are like humans! they need to be treated with respect! i am a huge animal lover too and i am also an animal cop. eveyday i am confronted with all of this stuff, and don't worry i cry too!!!! but there are people that hurt animals for there own pleasure! but there isn't much we can do about it but put them away for a couple years. it makes me so happy that you care for animals as much as i do. i don't just feel deeply for pets, i cry if any animal gets killed or hurt by someone! its makes me want to hurt them like they hurt the animal that they were abusing.

People who abuse animals are mentally ill. These persons have either witnessed animal cruelty themselves as a child or were abused as children. If a person abuses an animal, they will most certainly abuse a child or adult. Stay far away from anyone like this. If you or someone you know has a neighbor like this, report it to the authorities if animal abuse occurs. Children who abuse animals have been severely abused also and turn into psychopaths as adults, you know the Ted Bundy type or Jeffrey Dahmer from Wisconsin, who ate his victims.

It happens cause people freakin suck and the animal cruelty laws aren't harsh enough and enough people dont actually get prosecuted for commiting the animal cruelty crimes. And its a proven fact that serial killers started out by abusing and torturing animals before they move on to people. The world sucks and so do alot of the people in it...

I believe people hurt animals because they are ignorant and stupid. They feel like they aren't worthy of this world and are so angry and want to take their frustration out on someone, yet are so cowardly that they will only take it out on a helpless little animal. People that hurt animals should get as much time as those that hurt people. I assure you, if someone is physically abusing and torturing an animal they are a huge threat to humans to.

Thats life,.. people need to release their anger on something,.. too bad its the animals that always takes the blame for all the fault of humans,.. that story needs justice,.. pets needs to have a voice from us humans, who can stand up for their rights,.. some of the people are so stupid that they hurt animals who even done nothing but obey commands from us,.. They have the right to live like us,.. some people doesn't understand it,.. but i do,..

People abuse animals because they have no respect for life be it people or animal. They have a serious problem and it is my hope that someone who knows of this can get them the help they need. Jeffery Dahmer (last name mispelled) a serial killer started out abusing animals.

I would say that people abuse animals maybe because they feel like they dont have control over themselves or their lives/actions/addictions so they hurt something that is smaller than them to feel better/more in control/to have a brief feeling of power. :( animal abuse is just wrong.

some people think its funny. Others dont see the big deal cuz to them they're just animals and theres alot of them and they dont "really have feelings or a big enough brain to realize things or think."
