what is better single or taken?

whatever fits you, the thing is it doesn't matter if you are single or taken, so long as you are happy or make sure that your partner completes you.

I think single, but only because I've been married and divorced. It really depends, on what you mean by 'taken' though. It's nice to have someone to do things with. I think at least until a person finishes college they should at least keep things light. Whats important in a partner, and relationship will change a lot between 14 and 24. Single is better for some people sometimes, and taken is better for other people sometimes. I don't think being totally taken, or totally single is better for anyone all of the time though. Does that make sense? :)

well mostly both because being single is a good life i mean you get to go where ever you want spent time at the mall or just be with your freinds a lot and being taken is also kinda good but you dont have much to go out except your lover but i suggest to you to be someone that cares about you and loves you and adores you dont stay single all the time cuase one day it will hurt you being single.

Better to be single than with the wrong person. Believe me. I was married to my soulmate, who was killed 3 years later. I remarried too soon, and it was a "do over" since I was not ready and I didn't know the guy long enough or well enough - lots of emotional problems. My third husband (of 10 years) mistreated my kids and was very controlling. I've been single for 5 years now, not looking for another relationship, and finally got to know myself. Not that I'm all great or anything, and it may be lonely sometimes, but better than still being married to either of my last two husbands. Plus I'm not ready to put up with anyone elses' personality issues yet, and you know we all got 'em!

I think it's just important to be happy either way. If you aren't by yourself, you probably aren't going to be happy with someone else in the picture either. Once you find a way to be happy, things just fall in place... and there's nothing better than being "taken" knowing fully well that your happiness is not dependent on that person, but, at the same time, that person only adds to your happiness.

Really it all depends on the individual. I, personally like to be single because you don't have to answer to anyone. You can come and go without any expectations. That works for me, but like I said, it depends on the individual. Some people cannot function unless they have someone to call their own.

Depends on your past relationship status if you been single for years doesnt hurt to get into a little relationship but always remember doesnt end up like fairytales... just remember to have your gaurd up.itz good to have someone to go home too...but you'll never know unless you give it a chance.
