Depends on if you think that they are waiting for you. Or what they went away for. If they went into the military then yes but if they went away on business, then there might be a good chance that they may find other options. And it also really depends on how much you two were/are in love with each other.

Yes, but if the love is really felt, a lady could wait 5 or 6 years, before giving up and moving on to someone else.

Well military spouses have dealt with it for an eternity. If it's true love you both can wait. If not you two were not really that in love to begin with.

nope not at all. if you truely love eachother. a year is nothing... me n my boyfriend are going through something similar... we decided to take sometime apart to focus on ourselves..... good luck.... i will wait for him but on the same hand i have to understand that there is a possiability that when the year is up he just might not come back to you.

Not if you truly love them and they are away for a reason they can't help. If you're not sure of your feelings, distance isn't really going to help you.

Distance, time are the best criteri to try your love both of you.

being in the military.........i do know how u feel........but u should move on and being with other people............but make sure that person u wait for is worth the time......
