I live in Puerto Rico, and I urgently need a credit card for emergency, but in all banks I need to be 21. Which bank is suggested. (sorry for my bad spelling)

I live in Puerto Rico, and I urgently need a credit card for emergency, but in all banks I need to be 21. Which bank is suggested. (sorry for my bad spelling)
Also It can't be college students cards because right now I'm not studying. I'm starting next year, here in PR I need to give them a copy of my college application, in which I don't have and wont untill next year.

Try to apply for a student credit card, since it's the only kind of card that pretty much doesn't expect you to have prior credit history. Capital One or some of the business-affiliated Chase cards are a good bet (i.e. a "Starbucks" visa, really offered through Chase).

Note that you don't have to get a credit card from a bank--it can be a credit union or just a credit company that isn't a bona fide bank, which may not have the same age restriction.

I'm not sure how much presence Bank of America has in Puerto Rico, but they have a multitude of credit products for all kinds of people, perhaps you could find out with them?

Those banks mentioned above (suntrust,capital,bankof america..) do not operate in Puerto Rico.

Try Banco Popular de Puerto Rico or Banco Santander.

did you try suntrust bank?

i believe they are based out of Atlanta, GA. i also believe that they have a good customer base in Puerto Rico.

what about capital one? they seem to give credit to anybody.
