if a girl sleeps with multiple guys she is a whore but if a guy sleeps with multiple girls he isnt a male whore

It's society baby. Like Christina Aguilera says in her song on her "Stripped" Album, something to the effect of, a guy can do or sleep with whoever he wants, but if a girl does the same thing she gets called a whore. Something like that. I haven't heard the song in a while so I can't quote it exactly. It's also, I believe, a guy thing. If a girl or woman sleeps with a lot of guys, she is called a whore and looked down upon as "trashy," whereas a guy could sleep with numerous amounts of girls and not be called a male whore or looked down upon. I don't know why people say that, but I believe that there are things that guys are, basically, allowed to get away with and it seems to be ok with society for some reason. I wish I could explain it better, but I can't. I think if a guy sleeps with a lot of girls and people know it, heads will turn in the other direction and nothing be said and if the woman does the same thing she gets burned at the stake.

I still call a guy a whore if he has slept with a bunch of women I call then MAN WHORE!!! Its no different either way its just that society has come to accept the fact that men sleep around and they think thats ok women are supposed to be more refined and not just give it up but women like to have a little fun too and people need to quit being so dang uptight!

our society has some messed up standards. Just don't be a whore, and don't date a guy who is a player (man whore).

It's called a double standard...if a woman is assertive and speaks her mind she's a bit**, if a man does it he's strong..go figure...learn not to be judgmental is all I can say...
