My dad is 41 and is dating a 22 year old.I'm not sure how to feel about this. She's only 8 years older than me!!!

So you're 14? Wouldn't you love to have a sibling? Life is best when someone has at least one. Does his gf like you? Try liking her. It would be a crime, if she was the same age you are. So perk up, everything should be fine! Nobody should have to live with just one parent. Nor as an only child. A gal in her 20s is more likely to successfully get pregnant and give birth than a gal whose 30 or older.

Wow! thats not cool, is she a nice person? Girls like that could be a gold digger.
Try to talk your dad into a serious relationship! this one might be like a one night stand type! once he relizes that there is a HUGE age difference! maybe he will notice this isnt right for the both of you! Maybe he needs some counseling.
Its like a Dad dating a doughter, which is soooo wrong. Sorry to hear this! BUt talking to him and make him see why.... Good Luck

It isn't wrong just because of the age difference but often it is the older guy that actually gets hurt in this type of relationship not the poor innocent girl.

It depends on the 22 year old on why she likes your dad. if she truly likes him for him, well let your dad be happy,if shes out for something else, well then thats wrong. A persons heart has no age on it, its how you use it.

Welcome to reality. There are alot of men who date women young enough to be their children. It seems the older the man gets the more he thinks some young thing can help him get back his youth.
Your father is an adult, and she's an adult. You can express that you find it a bit of a cliche and more than a little gross, but that's about it.

well mainly you should be happy for your dad to accuatly find somone hes interested in him and someone he is interested in... i seriously think that just b/c shes 8yrs older then you shouldnt make a big deal out of this... let ur dad be happy with who he is dating... take care

ewewew....that is so wrong! why the heck is with with such a younger women does he think he looks cool or something? maybe you should tell him how you feel. and find out why he really likes her im sure there is an interesting story behind it.

If your father really loves her then you should just let him do what his heart is telling him to. Age is just a number but if he is just doing it because she is young then maybe you should enlighten him about your feelings. I hope I helped!
