Well...It would be really hard and Im not going to just come out and say yes! Id like to think I would....But God knows whats in my heart so there is no point in trying to look like a good little christian since no one is! I think it would take a lot of prayer and time....and complete loss of pride...but with support and Gods wonderful patience with me...I think I would come around and do it! And just pray for forgiveness for taking so long and being such a prideful person!

I have surrendered many things over the years, and God can have anything He wants because all I have is really His anyway I am just a caretaker of some of His things.

What is there in this universe that is worthy before God?? Thou shall not put any false God before Me. St. John of the Cross says this means if we put anything as being equal to or greater then God. What ever material attachment it may be.. All become our false gods and we will serve them, not the Lord..
To have the power within our own hearts to even love another is His potency. When Beauty, and Love personified wants your service is there any question of what to do. He contains all knowledge, all wealth, all fame ,all power all compassion ....All else is insignificant and pale in comparison to being called into His loving service.
We have only one soul-mate and that soul-mate is God.

Someone once told me (maybe in a dream) : "If you surrender the things you love the most for God's service for the better future, You come to realize who and what your God really is"

All "worthy things" become unworthy in His sight when He calls you. You lose the desire to have the things that you wanted for yourself.

For me, giving up my own plans for myself was always the most trying part of Christianity... until He made a change within me. Now I don't want any of those things for myself. I only want to serve Him until He chooses to take me.
