no. Lipton tea bags are the worst grade of tea (usually the smallest size of tea).

Orange pekoe (which isn't really orange) is greater in size, so these have to be brewed in a more traditional way. Make sure you don't brew too long, or it'll get bitter.

PS...when brewing tea, never squeeze the tea bag. You'll let out bitter tea into your drink.

I doubt it. Orange Pekoe is high quality stuff. Orange Pekoe refers to the size of the tea leaf not flavor or color.
Lipton probably uses the powder that falls when the lowest quality tea leaves are graded.

I don't know about Lipton's, because I make my own and use Earl Grey. It's makes the best iced tea!

i think so. it is a type of black tea.
black/green/oolong has to do with oxidation of tea.
i think pekoe refers to the leaf used from the tea plant.
not an expert but this is what i've gathered.
