Sadly, the first guy I truly liked and possibly fell in love with is going to college in the next month. All those years through middle school and 2 years in high school several guys have liked me from time to time but I never really liked any guy until I met him in my karate class and soon enough learned that he went to my school. Ever since then we always joked and talked and later learned on my own that I think he liked me. Now it is the summer and I rarely see him. I will see him one last time on our karate testing. I cannot get over it and I feel a little hopeless. I've been trying to let go. It's not working! Should I tell him that I like him the next time I see him even though it will be about 2 months since we've seen each other? Our connection is fading with the large amounts of time in between us.

Thanks for you time and thanks for reading my quite pathetic story.

I think that with the space and time between you two that it will not work... Long distance relationships almost never work... I think you should move on and just be lucky that you have know him...

I've had the exact same problem as you, because I had the biggest crush on this guy who just went off to college. He was like perfect, cute, smart, funny, and everything...like the total package. I guess after they leave you really realize that you should have grabbed your chance while you had it.

But, in the spectrum of things, there are so many ways that you can contact him (via email, cell phones, IMing, etc.) As time goes on though, you gradually get over him, and move on.

Best of luck to you! :-) Hope this helped, or hoped you could relate to it, at least a little, lol!

Keep in touch, write letters and emails, and visit his campus. You do not have to loose touch, cause of distance, nowadays. Let him go get an education, so if he ever becomes your man he can care for you. He's just a crush, be glad. When he's successful, he may become the ONE.

Seem it would be fine to let him know you will miss him and love him. Get his number and email keep in contact and if you love him then follow him when you can to collage, etc.
