It may not be a good idea you may get struck by thunder but the lighting may kill you

Well...Hurricane Beryl just came by New York metropolitan area for 2 days.
When she arrived around 5pm yesterday with torrential thunderstorms, a man sitting on a lawnmower was struck in a suburb. Another man was walking with his daughter on the upper eastside of Manhattan (with many tall residential buildings) was struck by lighting as well. He fell head down, face first, and his little girl was hysterical. Both men are recovering in hospital.
This afternoon three 13-year-old boys were strucked and killed when they were outside on a lawn during a thunderstorm.
Hmmm...I'd think that you must weigh and access worthwhileness of the excitement and risk...considering the 5 New Yorkers were struck by lightning over 2-day period. Remarkably good odds for such a "rare" event!
