It is prepared quickly, is unhygienic mostly and not good for you. Just think maccas, burger king, kfc and wendy's.
Salad sandwich takes how long to prepare ??? or are we really getting that lazy?

Hahaha.. junk food is called FAST FOOD because it can be prepared in a very fast time and so you save the hassle of cooking slowly yourself.
However, in order to make the food taste nice, they go through many processes that in turn make the food become JUNK to our body and health.
