I agree with keeping a pen/pencil and journal by your bed. Try meditation, maybe that will help you relax and focus on them. I am the opposite of you: I remember everything and dream in color always. You can also check out some info on dream patterns to see what you find. Good Luck!!! GMM

I don't remember mind either...but weeks or months later they will come back to me in everyday life and it freaks me out. I will know that what I am seeing or thinking has happened before and it is usually because of a dream I have had. I have been told you need to write your dreams down. If you wake up and can remember them, write down what you remember and it will help you see into the thoughts of your daily life.

I wonder if you get plenty of sleep each night. Dreams occur during REM sleep or Stage 4 of the sleep cycle. This is when you are in your deepest sleep. You go through several cycles of sleep each night. I do not know exactly why you don't remember your dreams but I am guessing that maybe you pass Stage 4 and enter other stages before you awake slowly and thus are not in your dream stage.

Keep a book by your bed side with a pen and the second you wake up and remember any little thing about a dream, just start to write. You just have to pay attention.

I have found that if I am overly tired I won't remember
my dreams. If I got to bed when I'm moderately tired
I seem to remember all of my dreams in detail.

I never remember my dreams either... but its because I'm a heavy sleeper. People who wake up easily remember their dreams while people who sleep through everything don't remember their dreams.
