Almost all important doctrine is completely agreed upon between Catholic Christians and other Christians.

There are some minor doctrine issues and some major cultural traditional differences which, I believe, do not matter that much.

A Catholic worships and follows Christ in the tradition of Catholicism which, among other things, recognizes that Christ made Peter the leader of His new Church and Pope Benedict XVI is Peter's direct successor.

With love in Christ.

It all depends. The Catholic Christians and the Non-Catholic Christians who obsess over divisiveness are in the wrong.

People who are of this earth seek to divide, and division is not Christ-like.

Catholic Christians and Non-Catholic Christians who seek recognition from each as brothers and sisters in Christ, despite differences in their denominations, are right on account of their Christ-like attitude towards Christian unity.

Go research on how the Bible came to be then read the works of the Early Church Fathers(Clement of Rome, Mathetes, Polycarp, Ignatius, Barnabas, Papias, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus and others of the first 300 years of Christianity).

To Amfound2: Obviously, you haven't read any one of the writings of the listed early christians above. Only an ignoramous can say Catholicism is not Christianity.

I am very pleased to see that you know that there is a difference, most people have not got a clue and think that Rcs are Christians when they clearly are NOT!
Christians believe that Christ has paid the penalty IN FULL at Calvery when he died on the cross and that perfect sacrifice was acceptable to God.
Rcs believe that Jesus did NOT pay the price in full at Calvery and they have to work to earn their salvation by many ways.
They believe that ONLY Rcs can be saved as that is the teaching of their church, they believe that they need the sacrements to be saved as that is their teaching and they believe that they will go to putgatory and not to heaven when they die so they can in some way suffer for their sins. Therby deniying that Christ fully paid the price.
They believe that their priests are greater than their jesus as the priests tell their jesus to come into a piece of bread, and their god has to obey the priest, thereby giving the priest power over their god" They believe that their god is a piece of toast and when they eat it they have eaten god.
These beliefs have NOTHING whatsoever to do with Bibical Christianity.
Bible believing Christians believe that Christ paid IN FULL the price on the cross and there is NOTHING whatso ever that we can add to Gods work that we can enter in to heaven by ourselves. Christ has done it all. The price is paid.
In Isaiah 64:6 we are told, "all our righteousness are as filthy rags."
There is NO way we can get into heaven by ourselves or anything that we can do, Our God has paid the price, anything else is blasphony!
Rc also worship other gods such as mary and "saints" and bow down and worship idols. They deny this but if you go to Rome you will see them kissing statues all over the place and touching the idols and bowing down to them.
This list is FAR from exhaustive...!

I am a non-denominational Christian who used to be Catholic. As long as you follow Gods Word and obey his laws and are saved by asking Jesus to lead your life and live the life he leads you, then you are right becasue God is right.
