Not as a physical place, but as a heavenly state of mind or a spiritual dimension. But not as a far off place beyond the clouds in outer space, no.
"Pope John Paul II pointed out that the essential characteristic of heaven, hell or purgatory is that they are states of being of a spirit (angel/demon) or human soul, rather than places, as commonly perceived and represented in human language. This language of place is, according to the Pope, inadequate to describe the realities involved, since it is tied to the temporal order in which this world and we exist. In this he is applying the philosophical categories used by the Church in her theology and saying what St. Thomas Aquinas said long before him.
"Incorporeal things are not in place after a manner known and familiar to us, in which way we say that bodies are properly in place; but they are in place after a manner befitting spiritual substances, a manner that cannot be fully manifest to us." [St. Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologiae, Supplement, Q69, a1, reply 1]"

Yes and no! The word heaven is actually haven and the Greek word for heaven is ouranos which is actually in English Orion as in the star constellation it's a actual place where the angel and God live you follow! Angel are physical being just like you and I they just existed 100,000 of years before us they eat, sleep, fight, crie and there are agreeable ones and disagreeable ones. Heaven is a PHYSICAL place and there are beings thru out our galaxy! Bealieve it or not! There is no such place were all good soul are going to go and do nothing forever that's a fairy tale

The Holy Bible says there is,and I believe it. It also says that man cannot even begin to imagine how great it will be.It will be especially great for people interested in astronomy. They will be able to visit far off Galaxies if they so choose. There is no limit to what you will be able to do. and, after a million years you will still have the vigor of eternal youth. You will not get tired or weary. You will never be bored. I could go on and on,but you get the point.

Was it St Peter that said I was lifted up unto the third heaven. Makes ya think, huh? If there's a third heaven then you would have to have a first and second, right?

Yes. And it is good. The material things that meant anything to us today will no longer matter. The people who we are angry with are forgiven. Our bodies won't be as we know them -- and we shall see ourselves and others that we have experienced in this and other lives. There will also be many who you have never known also there. It is amazing. I have been with nine people as they have passed and they have told me what they are seeing. And who is there for them. Unbelievable, but very consistent.

I believe that there is a place that your soul goes after you die. In my version of "heaven", all of my loved ones are there and we "live" together for eternity, feeling no pain, looking our best, and speding eternity with the ones that we love.

Probably not. Like I said in your other question, is there a hell?
It makes no logical sense. I'm with logic right now.

Who knows? For those who say yes, where is the proof (apart from saying that a certain book says so)? For those who say no, where is the proof?
