You take the cat to a shelter and tell them you cannot afford a pet, but you got one and it is sick. They will do whatever is necessary. That might be euthanasia if the cost to treat is too much, but you offer nothing better. Do what is best for the cat.

Then do not get another pet bigger than a fish.

I love the advice Randy S gives!!!!!!! Just give it "rained on grass, it has medicine in it"!!!!!!!! I think it is illegal to have the kind of grass Randy is using!!!!!

I agree with the first poster. You should not care of animals if you are not willing to take good care of the. Even tough you may say that you are worried about and love but just can't afford a vet you should have realized that you could not give the quality of care needed to keep them healthy. You cat could have ingested something poisonous
If this were a child you would be arrested for neglect. Think about give up your pet for love.

hmmm....sounds like something that happened to my kitten...she was weak like u said and wouldnt eat, drink, move, poo, or anything. she would just sit there. really tired...what i figured out is that she had a blood desease. check your cats ears, if your cat has a purple-ish ear then that is really bad....you should realy take it to a vet because it can die right away. i barely made it to the vet when my kitten was sick.
good luck, and i hope your cat is ok

If she goes more then a day without water you need to find a way to take her to the vet. I don't know her age. You may have to take her to the shelter and see if they can put her down if you can't afford to take care of here. I've been there too. I hope she gets better.

Does she have alot of fleas if she does she could be anemic from them sucking the blood. That will cause her to be weak and not eat and if not treated for them she will die within a few days.

Take her to a low-cost animal clinic. If you tell them that you have a low income, they will check her out for you for no more than 25 dollars. Thats including any medication she may need.

It is YOUR responcibility to provide medical treatment to any pet that you take in. It is neglect and animal cruelty if you dont.

Do not get any more pets if you cant afford it.
Take the cat to a vet asap and sign the cat over to them or the humane society otherwise the cat is going to DIE!!!
