Are you saying you hope something happened to him so you dont have to go through the inconvenience of breaking up with him? You are one sick person if that's the case.

It would hurt him if you found someone else while he is still under the impression that you're still engaged to him. I would try to track him down somehow and tell him in a loving way what you need to tell him. Before you break it off, however, you should pray and seek the answer from Him so that you're doing the right thing by him and for him. I know it will hurt in the short term, but you and he will feel better in the long run once the sting of the hurt subsides.

That could be a natural reaction so you don't have to go through a painful scene. Still I think it is a little troubling and hope you find you cared enough about him at one point to hope that he is OK even if you will have to break-up with him.

get rid of him, other you're stuck with him for LIFE....Huge commitment, you're begging for unhappiness if it's already not what you want.
