What's with that old fashioned rule about the guys always having to ask the girls out, not to mention call them? What do you guys think of girls doing this? Is it too forward, I mean do you like it when girls play hard to get? Would it be weird for you if a girl asked you out without really making it seem like they were into you ahead of time? My dad says not too but a lot of people now seem to think that it's ok. so is that just a time period thing? I'm confused. lol. Thanks!!!

Whenever I'm with girls It's totall appropriate for them to ask me out. Just be warned, There's a reason guys are shy about asking chicks out,and it's that dirty word known as rejection.
It's always appropriate to let someone know you're into them before you ask them out, guy or girl. When someone asks me out, and I'm not expecting it, I'll say no, no matter what they look like, just because it's such a surprise.
I've lost a lot of good opportunities that way... but I always end up doing it, even if I tell myself I won't.

i've got talked to 3 chicks whilst i exchange into youthful and we desperate we would have loved to bypass out yet no longer something ever happens. i'm in my view incredibly shy and the 1st lady I dated exchange into like that, it exchange into thoroughly obvious we would have loved to this element so i think of I in basic terms asked her. despite if it may be cool to be asked out with the aid of a chick. in basic terms be sure he has an interest in you. If he does or does not you need to be close down anyhow, the two with the aid of fact he's frightened (why he did no longer ask you out) or he in basic terms isn't fascinated.

Girls really need to learn that nowadays they have just as much responsibility to ask guys out and visa versa.
No disrespect to your Dad but I think he's being a little overprotective.

I have always thought that if a girl would ask me out than she would like to get to know me better, that is a complement not being forward i think it is nice,

Yes...cause sometimes guys move to slowly..or don't catch the hint..but I like when guys ask girls out..it seems much more romantic and old fashioned..*smiles*

One of the best dates I ever had was when a certain red haired lady i worked with asked me out. Go for it! The worst he can do is turn you down or accept, and the date be a bust.

its ok if hes way too shy and u know hes dying to ask you out but you need the nerve to because hes not sure and doesnt want to take rejection

i think it's nice to have the guy ask you out cuz then (for some) they have to be humble and if they really do lke u .. then it's a big deal to them and u aren't just being asked bcuz they feel like asking

i think it's awesome when a girl asks a guy out. it takes quite a bit of courage, and it takes a bold woman, a woman who will make you very happy with her audacity, i bet.
