Pure Land Buddhist Heavens of Amitabha and Akshobya and others.?

Amitabha and Akshobya and two others at least have Pure Land Buddhist Heavens. What are the names of the Gods of these heavens; are these heavens like Hindu heavens; can you eat and have sex and kids there?

I would like to try to give you an answer on yr question.

I can't say much abt the Akshobya Pure land .

What I can say about is the Amitabha Pure Land .

First , Amitabha is a Buddha , it is in a different category from a God or Creator God of other religons.

In Buddhism, the Buddha is an Enlightened Being , not a Creator God.

Although He is a Enlightened Being , He has no less power than a Creator God . In fact , after gaining the ultimate and supreme Englightenment , a Buddha would have become one with the Universe, He would have the exact same creative powers of the Universe and the Cosmos.

In Buddhism, we believe that everyone of us is a unenlightened Buddha , each of us has the Buddha Nature within us.

Our goal in learning and practising Buddhism is to gain the Ultimate Enlightenment and to free our minds and hearts from all delusions ,defilements and to let our Buddha Nature manifest . By then , we would be true masters of ourselves and we become one with the Universe.

( When I say Universe , I don't just mean the Universe you see from the telescope ,I mean to say all creation, all life, all nature, in fact , the sum total of everything )

When we talk about Amitabha Pure Land, this Pure Land is a spiritual heaven that was created out of the Enlightened mind of the Amitabha Buddha .

Aeons ago, Amitabha Buddha was a practising Buddhist , by the name of Monk Fa Zhang. He gained spiritual achievement and he was able to travel spiritualy to visit all the Pure Lands that was created by other Buddhas aeons ago. After visiting them , He made 48 vows to create a Pure Land with Infinite Light , infinite Lifespan and unending eternal happiness.

After Monk Fa Zhang achieved and gained the ultimate enlightenment , He became Amitabha Buddha and He made his vows come true . Thus , The Amitabha Pure Land appeared .

This Amitabha Buddha Pure Land was introduced to this world by Sakyamuni Buddha ( the historical Buddha that existed 2000 over years ago on this earth ) ., when he expounded the Sutras on Amitabha Buddha.

To answer your question, among the 48 vows of Amitabha Buddha, one of the vows was that there are no women in his Pure Land .

Women is unheard of there.

Since you have no women there , how could you have kids ?

If you were born there in His Pure Land, , you will be born from a lotus flower that is as big as a wheel. Not born from a womb.

You are born pure, you have a spiritual body .

When you felt hungry , you just thought of delicious dishes and it will appear in front of you for your consumption.

In fact , you don't use your hands, the food ( not solid material food in our world , but food of spiritual nature ) will fly into your mouth , satisfying you.

After your meal, the dishes will disappear on its own.

You enjoy eternal happiness as a inhabitant there.

Your life there would centre around spiritual cultivation , with eternal bliss in every step of the way , you will never feel any pain or suffering . You continue to cultivate until you become a Buddha .

Since the Amitabha Pure Land teachings were expounded on this earth , many Buddhists practised this teaching and was born to this Pure Land after their death.

There are also living accomplished Buddhist Masters who was able to travel there spiritually and came back with accounts of the Pure Land.

All the above scenes I mentioned above are from actual spiritual travels of accomplished Buddhist monk, who had travelled to the Amitabha Pure land and came back.

There are many more amazing scenes that were unheard of on this earth, that were related to us by these masters ,but I only managed to recall this few.

Amitbha Buddha is very compassionate. In one of his 48 vows, He said that any beings in the Universe, who have heard of this Pure Land and is able to have unshaken faith in Amitabha and the Pure Land ; at the deathbed of this being, if he or she is able to have 10 unshaken thoughts on Amitabha Buddha , this being would be born into the Pure Land of Amitabha Buddha.

In fact, many Buddhist's cultivation aims was to be born there after their passing away from this earth.

life is a endless cycle if you chose to eat and have sex and children so it will be done, after all it is written ask and you will receive
