I am only 13 and i drink. both my mom and dad know it and they don't stop me... my mom isn't proud of it but she stil lets me but my dad could care less.... dose this mean they don't care about me :( i am very confuseddon if this is bad or good but i don't want to stop drinking plzzzz help

I was in your shoes at your age. I used to drink so much at 13. It made me feel older and i liked the buzz. I was bored and all my friends did it. At least youre not into drugs, thats a good part of it. BUT, at 13, you shouldnt be drinking cause of boredom or whatever the reason. i turned out okay. the fact that you parentes let u, makes it easier for you. Stop now and wait.

I can't say whats going on with your mom and dad, but I'm a mom I have 4 kids and I'm telling you stop drinking! Of coarse I have no authority over you but you are old enough to have some responsibility and I think your going down the wrong path! Be good and work hard to make something of your self there will be lots of time to party later, I really hope it works out for you!

sounds like your parents are not displaying good leadership skills. They should be encouraging you to not do the things they do which are bad and mold you into someone they would later be proud of. They are a lot of risks involved with underage drinking you are killing your liver at a very young age and not only that you and your parents can get into some serious legal trouble if someone finds out. Alcohol is just a legal drug. You have your whole life ahead of you.

i started drinking at 14 and my parents didn't really care well they kind of told me not to but didnt really do anything to stop it well now I'm 20 and I'm an alcoholic i screwed up my life in a lot of different ways from drinking and drinking is still the only thing i want to do. if i were you i would stop before you end up like me.

Sweetie, its not good for you to drink right now. Maybe your parents believe that if they keep an eye on you when you drink, you will be less prone to being out of control when you get older. However, I dont think this is a good situation for either of you. It is illegal to supply alcohol to minors, and if you're under 21, you are a minor. They could be arrested for it, then you would be in a worse situation.
Please, please get some help to stop drinking. Its not healthy for you, you're still growing up.

It is bad and your parents ought to be in jail. If you continue down this path you are headed no where. No education, no job, no money, NO LIVER, no life.
You cannot change your parents. Trying to will only make you miserable. You can change yourself and the first step is to talk to an adult who does care. Talk to your school counselor, a youth leader, a friends parents, an adult relative besides your parents, any responsible adult around you. Your life and your future depend on it.
Lots of people have sucky parents. They choose to be better than their own parents. They make wonderful lives for themselves, get an education, a great job, a spouse, and children of their own. But none of them get there with a bottle in their hand. It just doesn't fit into the equation.

You are aware that you are a drinker, so this is your chance to stop. Most children start drinking at that age, i know i experienced alcohol with my cousins, but i didnt drink again until recently...I think your parents are allowing you to be a grown and responsible teenager, they figure if you realize it you will quit the habit and not continue later. Good luck! (TALK TO THEM!!)

yes that is very bad. Drinking is a very bad habbit that is very bad for your health. Forget your parents if they don't care, you should stop drinking. What got you into drinking at such a young age in the first place?

They don't care and that's sad. And you obviously don't care about your health or have any respect for yourself. If they did care then they would talk with you or get you counseling.
If it really bothers you, sit down and have a talk with them. Don't throw your life away because of a few cheap thrills. If you were in your parents place what would you do for your 13 year old?

drinking is bad, it's unhealthy and illegal at your age, and nothing good comes out of it. Personally, I want to know when I'm having fun.
Your parents do love you and they always will. They might not know how to handle this situation.
I would stop drinking if I were you, but it's your decision.
