Yes, get off your "addiction" slowly. It's the caffeine, the sugar, all of it. It's totally not good for you, but it's best to just cut back a little bit each day until you don't notice any side affects.

Other options, try flavored water, have Ibuprofin on hand, and what about the energy drinks? does that count in your bet?

have pop rocks. they sorta make u feel like they have fizz inside them, since the pop in ur mouth...that might work. I dunno, I am on a decrease of soda too. I havent tried the pop rocks idea, but it might work.
