bottom line: both sex want something and want to get something in return. each sex just want different things and has different things to offer. friendship, love, marriage... it's all a trade. it's likely the case that one party gets bad end of the deal, like the female, though at end of the day, it's just a trade.
note: there are many ways of abuse and exploitation, not just physical.

I have been married two times to men who beat me. It isn't just women who use and abuse, some men do too. You just haven't found the right woman (look for one who has been used and abused, and treat her right).

They women that use and abuse men are spoliled brats who think thats how it should be. Also the nice ones are right in front of you and you might never see them.

What?! I don't use and abuse men! It all has to do with the person, not the gender. If guys are supposed to be our knights in shining armor why do they rape us and beat us, and ALSO abuse us? Gender isn't the issue.
