Somebody dumped three little kittens on the side of the road. They are, of course, infested with fleas. Anybody got the best way to get rid of them? The fleas I mean, not the kittens. Thanks.

WOW! You people are incredible! Never heard of the baby poweder(Gold Bond) or the Borax - we used that to cure deerhides and bear, etc. Didn't know it worked on fleas. Thanks everybody!!!

Here is a recipe: 1/2 Tsp Alcohol

1 drop Cedarwood

1 drop Lavender

1 drop Citronella

1 drop Thyme

4 Garlic Capsules

Break open the garlic capsules and add to the liquids above, blend your ingredients together, pour the mixture over the collar until all is absorbed. Let dry completely before putting on your pet, it should keep the fleas off for about 30 days. Blood is the flea’s only food, but when garlic is detected in it they will leave well enough alone. Add 1 to 2 capsules of garlic to your pets diet during the spring and summer months. Now as you can see each process is really quite simple and inexpensive, but the wonderful thing about these remedies is they are all natural with no harmful chemicals added.

Advantage or a natural remedy would be peppermint oil on a cotton swap and dripped on the neck.

Goldbond medicated baby powder. Sprinkle the powder all over them. The fleas can't breath it and will all die. All fleas will be gone in one day.

take them to the vet and see if they are old enough for a vet prescribed flea product. there is no "home remedy" for fleas. do not apply any over the counter product. They don't work and if they kittens are too young they may get very ill if you apply one.
