Whats with the latest series of insults and demoralizing stuff you are posting? Do you hate your country that much that you'd side with its very enemies? At least I can understand why the terrorists hate America (they want an evil Islamic Empire to rule the world)...but you? Even your discharge back in the years following 'Nam doesnt add up to this constant expression of defeatism. And if you are a veteran...why dont you walk away and heal whatever wounds you suffered? Seems like if anyone who's really depressed here...its you. Care to tell me why? Maybe I could help you if you're interested...or at least get a professional to help you.
And by the way...I've never heard of any field ration in any army in the world which has crow as part of the ration.
Oh I almost forgot my answer to your question. Assuming I find a Marine with the above description...I would say to him to suck up his gut, let go of his shame and continue on the fight (its not just Iraq anyways where the fight is, nor is it the only reason why his country needs him). And I'd tell him to put down the crow pie and grab his M16A2 rifle, load up a fresh clip of ammo and continue on.

I'd say that you are an angry liberal venting your frustration out on Yahoo Questions because the USA has been so D##N successful in fighting the war on terror.....If you want to measure in terms of body-counts, compare any of the most recent conflicts to Vietnam, try comparing the domestic homicide rate to the casualties of any of those and you'll find the domestic homicide casualty rate is much higher. (Safer over there than here!) Start drinking heavily and get a pack of camels....Suck on them for a while and you'll be okay. Glad I could help.

First off, crow isn't standard issue ration, that's reserved for Iraqi POW's. Besides, Marines know better then to put sugar on there meat rations. Marines don't suck shame, they make the sh*thead there fighting understand pain, hurt and shame....
