First of all, make a list and keep it handy: add every single item you use during the day tomorrow (from toothbrush to tampons to cuddly toy) and in the evening, see if anything is on it that is not in your suitcase. But don't stress too much, your Germans can provide you with anything you might have forgotten and the dollar still goes a long way in Russia - you'll be fine, what ever odd thing you might have forgotten.

Plan out what you are going to be doing during your travel. One thing is to go lightly packed because you are bound to come back with more.

So essentials will be your clothes. Pack right for the climate there. Looks like you will in warm and cool places so you need to be ready for possible change. So if you are prepared for the cool weather, this will take care of the summer temperature too.

How many days will you be away? Short trip with no time for laundry, pack enough change to lasttill you get to a laundry. Seeing as you are visiting relatives, you can actually half your load and had them laundered before you go to the next destination. So you do not have to carry too much clothes when travelling.

Others will be your personal toiletries. Like your toothbrush, comb/brush, cleanser, toner, facial aids etc. Thing which you thing you cannot get overseas. Pack them into smaller containers so that you do not have to carry the tubes, bottles and jars with you! There are travel containers availabe from the department stores or pharmacies.

Next is travel memoirs. You carry a camera, MP3 player, personal entainment devices? Try to have a set of spare batteries on hand, or use rechargeable batteries so you can have continuous power supply. It will be disappointing to go somewhere and you cannot entertain yourself.

Do you have cousins whom you like to bring some gifts? Include these into your travel bag. So you are more or less set for your trip.

Have a nice time.
