Well im going to be going into canada, and im 19 years old. So im old enough to buy alcohol there, and i want to bring some back to the US. Obviously since im not 21 (legal drinking age in the US) i dont want anyone to know about me bringing it back in, so should i do the whole "duty free store" thing or some other way? And what is the whole thing with the duty free store?

You cannot posses alcohol in the US under 21, and when you get the the US border they are going to ask you what you are bringing back with you. Now, if there is someone in the car that is over 21 then they could declare it as theirs. The thing with duty free shops is that you can save on taxes, but I still don't think the prices are that good to make it worth it. Unless you are buying something really expensive it's not worth the hassle.
