Actually, I'm pretty sure it's just the BAKING that colors the pretzels. I've made them before. They're good, but not that exotic! Interesting idea though. They DO have coffee beans that are fed to weasels or something like that and after the've "passed through" they're roasted. Apparantly it's a delicacy. (Saw it on the food channel. Gross)

No. Not at all. You can find out how to make pretzels online and they will look like store bought kind. there is no urine in the mix.

no they dont contain any urine...they turn brown because they are baked for a long time..until theyre crispy. when people make their own pretzels, theyre soft. thats why theyre not brown. *i think*

no it's water and salt that you put on the pretzel. then the pretzel turns brown cause of the water and baking duh. who ever told you that should seriously go to hell.
