and it takes out all of the obscenities on TV shows. What is called? Where do i get it? I know it exists, i justdon't know what it is.

The technology is already out there. You have to have a receiver with a "V" chip in it.
More importantly, why would you need one? Do you allow your children to watch television unsupervised?

Perhaps you are thinking of the company that plans to "sanitize" movies on DVD to take out "bad" language and scenes. This is done by humans editing the films. I don't think our technolgy has reached the point where a machine can recognize what some might consider objectionable and delete it automatically.

I am a strong Christian myself. The best thing to do it purchase a DVR system and record shows you know wont have obsecenities. Or just dont watch TV much at all. God called for us to live a simple life and continually meditate on this word.

i don't think the v chip does that...it can stop a program with a certain rating from being aired but not bleep out obscenities...i don't think you can buy something that can bleep them by hooking it up to you TV...
