I have a theory that once you're hooked on crack you can't ever get off. Do you know anyone who's gotten off and been clean for years?

Yes it is possible--not easy but possible. I know 2 men, one being my ex husband who used crack for YEARS and has been clean going on 2 years. Just like anything youre addicted to, it is the person who HAS to want to be free from it.

I used to date a guy who was over a crack habit. We started dating after he recovered. We didn't last long, because he was nuts, due to crack.

Lee Stringer quit crack and wrote about it in "Grand Central Winter". He was a functional alcoholic for almost twenty years, crack brought him to his knees in less than a year.

You've got to go to a clinic or inpatient house. See your county administration if you don't have the money for one that you research on your own.
