What do you mean by low? 120/60 is a good blood pressure for adults and changes by age.
generally a VERY low blood pressure is caused by bleeding internal or external but certain other problems can also cause a low b/p,including hormone and drugs.

Some people run naturally low. Otherwise, there's either not enough fluid in the vessels (dehydration), the vessels are dilated (very unlikely but possible in certain conditions, particularly neurological), or there's a problem with the pump (the heart isn't pumping as hard as it should.) This time of year, it's usually dehydration. However, if you're properly hydrated, see your doctor for a cardiac evaluation.

if you work out regularly and eat properly, your blood pressure will drop.
some kinds of illness and injury lower your blood pressure.
loss of blood (surprise!) lowers your blood pressure, including donating blood.
