One day my yes were really dry or watery from pollen. To make it feel better, I'd close my eyes real tight and it felt SO good. Ever since then, (on and off) I've been doing it randomly, and yet it continues to make my eyes feel good. So anyone have the "closing eyes tight for a few seconds habbit?" as I like to call it. Makes me look stupid.

You will often observe people with dry eyes shutting their eyes tightly to try to get more moisture. It's not uncommon. But for longer relief try investing in an OTC eye drop - systane, refresh tears, genteal tears, NOT visine. Trust me, you'll quickly drop your habit and pick up a new one of putting drops in your eyes :)
If your eyes itch from the pollen - see your optometrist about getting a prescription for an ocular allergy drop - they work wonders!

I did have that habit before but now its gone. For you to know if that is becoming your habit or if it is already your habit go to the doctor and let him check you up. Then if there is nothing wrong about your eye then it could be your habit. If you don't want that habit then you should do your best not to do that. For additional tips don't use your eyes too much also because you might have a bad eyesight when you are about 40 and above.
