have you seen pulp fiction?
during it is a scene Uma Thurmans character explains to John Travoltas character that 2 ppl are really comfortable with each other when they can share silence together.
Mia: Don't you hate that?
Vincent: What?
Mia: Uncomfortable silences. Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullshit in order to be comfortable?
Vincent: I don't know. That's a good question.
Mia: That's when you know you've found somebody special. When you can just shut the **** up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence
i dont know how to make it go away. but you may not truly be comfortable with him if you cant shut up and enjoy the silence.

Weird silence? It's called static, want it to go away, then keep talking.
