It was 108 today and I live in an area where it seldom gets above the 80s. Can't stand to even go outside. Any cool tips??

Now you know how we Texans feel! And a whole lot other states.Try to not move around much, drink plenty of water, I keep a wet clothe handy to cool off with. After your shower turn the hot to warm for a min or so and then to cool and cool yourself well before getting out to get dressed. Do any outside work before 6am or after 9pm. I water the yard at midnight or later sometimes and weed by the light of the moon and streetlights! Keep a mist bottle of water handy if you have work to do that requires much movement. Mist your bed and pillow and your clothes before bed and keep a circulating fan on. Hope this helps.

Try putting a bowl of ice close to a fan that's going. Or find a shady spot that's near a breeze, and drink cold water. If at night time, put a cold, wet cloth on your forehead.
