My cat gave birth to a kitten on Christmas Eve of '04. She had another, but it died. The kitten was an 'only child'. He has never been 'social' towards us, unlike his mother and father (who happen to be brother and sister). Everytime you pet him, he scratches you and bites and doesn't let go until he is tired of you. Also when we took him to get neutered, they found out he had one testicle in his stomach. What's the deal with him? ( I am NOT joking about ANY of this.)

Yes; he is fine. He got neutered around Christmas last year. He also has these bizarre mood swings where he rubs on you and wants attention...

hes a boy
also know as a tom cat
or the alpha male

hes just trying to show u guys whose boss
does he act worse around men? most animals that try to prove that theyre the alpha sex attack or show offense to the same sex. human or not.
you just need to show that he is not the boss and whip his *** into shape.

the reason for the testicle being in his stomach...tht could be a birth defect from his parents being brother and sister. his behavior might be a result of that too. its not a good idea to do that.

animals work the same way as humans. ur not pose to have animal incest.
good luck

Inbreeding in the animal species are just as likely to produce offspring with deficiencies as humans because of the genetic make up of both parents being so much alike.. If the parents have any defective genes, then it is more likely to be compounded in the babies and more likely to cause abnormalities.

inbred cats may have some mental problems. inbreeding is terrible for anything. he may also be in some pain with the testical in the stomach. ask your vet for a mild sedative and you must scold the cat when he behaves agressivley. grab him by his scruff, like his mother would. they are defencless like that. get his attention away from the attack. cats are very loving and wonderful animals, but they can be very hard to figure out. give him extra attention when he is good, maybe a treat as well. when he is bad, leave him alone. dont make it worse by continuing to try.

Maybe it was the in-breeding? (not joking) I'm not sure, just keep trying for the poor little guy. Give him treats and stuff like an unsocial child.. let himknow they're special and you care about him.. cats detect that sort of thing.

All i had to read was that his parents are brother and sister! that is you cats problem right threre, INBREEDING. just like people who are brother and sister who have a child together their offspring have problems. It has to do with their genetics, they don't have enough of a difference, because the parents are the same genetic make up

Umm, did you say that his parents were Brother and Sister? If that's the cas then he's a mental case. It's called inbreeding, I think. It causes all this crazy junk with the babies.

It may have a defect in its brain from being inbred. If you know that there was already a deformity, then this should be a pretty valid answer.

That's probably why. Must've been REALLY painfull. You would kick and scratch to. My respects to the cat for dealing with it as long as it did.
