It works fine Yahoo decided to remove all stupid people from their server for one day to see how many would ask this same question on Yahoo Answers.

Amen. People are really jonesing over the system being down. Gosh you'd think it has been weeks. How did us old far** communicate before E-Mail and IMs, I wonder.

Yahoo servers that handle Messenger traffic are down. Yahoo is working on the problem and service will be restored as soon as possible. Be patient and in the meantime, why not answer some questions.
