I would say that is up to the parents. Some parents still don't approve of boys having their ears pierced at all. I, personally, wouldn't care if my son wished to have his ears pierced...I would let him (he is 6). But my son hates hair cuts, I don't see him volunteering for an ear piercing anytime soon, LOL.

i feel whenever he wants them, getting ur ears pierced now is so trivial, its nothing just be glad he doesn't want to get his nose pierced, most parents gets their kids ears pierced when there still young, so i really don't see the reason to wait, if he doesn't like it as he gets older he can always take it out and let the hole heal up, its nothing permanent like a tattoo

When he's old enough to deal with the possible fallout of the decision, especially if you live in a conservative area of the country. I'd say 15 to 16 is good if you live in a liberal area and after he's an adult when he can deal with the comments he'd receive.

whatever age you allow. The joy of ear peircing is if you change your mind it heals over quickly. Make sure they are old enough to know not to touch their ears as this leads to bad infections (experience)

at any age he wants its not like its going to leave a real bad scare or anything and its not a tattoo i mean you can take it out and it will just close up and be nothing but a memorie so at what ever age he wants!!

I think when he is old enough to run around and not get it snagged on anthing.I would say 7-10.But he won't be allowed to wear it to school,(dress code)

umm any age i got my belly done and my nose and im only 13 my mom says ears,belly,nose or and were like that it really sounldnt matter cuz its not liek u getting a tatoo

When he is old enough to ask you . Some boys don't like it so I would wait until he comes and asks you.

My boys were 6 and seven,when i knew that they understood that is was going to hurt and they still wanted it.
