Anger comes from unresolved feelings or some form of frustration. Not being in control of your life will cause anger to creep up on you at anytime.
Examining feelings about family relationships, external relationships, work, school, sex money, health, free time, etc.. may help you realize that there is a root to the anger and it is not without reason.

Yes, there are many disorders and labels, but diagnosis is difficult. You must examine how the anger is manifesting itself. Does the person cry? fight, do harmful things? What is their sleep pattern like?

A visit with a therapist is a good idea for someone in this predicament, The therapist will be able to guide someone and refer them to a professional that can determine the best treatment. It could be something as simple as regulating or developing a regular sleep pattern, having a neutral person to talk to or determining if a chemical imbalance is the culprit., etc...

Yes, and I live that problem. I am angry all the time for no reason, and I get irritated very easily, and I actually went to the doctor and started therapy. And its depression. Even though you might not think your depressed or dont see that anything has happened that could cause you to be depressed. But hey, Im gonna tell you like the therapist told me. The mind is a very powerful thing, and DO NOT put anything passed your mind. Wish you the best of luck

If one has issues in life which have not been dealt with at the time it is placed over into the sub conscious.
When a situation arises you may become aware that you are reacting in anger which doesn't make sense to you.
It is the sub conscious remembering the incident which your conscious mind does not remember.
When it happens take a look at the situation you were just in or the thoughts that you were thinking at the time.

Lots of mental health issues make such symptoms. You could refer to a doctor to ask him. Do you have issues unresolved? Usually men show anger during depression. And women fall into tearful mess.
