i have been eating without teeth, and my gums really hurt. i have no teeth. i am to broke for dentures right now. can my gums get infected?

yes, badly infected and gum infections have a direct link to heart disease...get some professional advice.

your gums might get infected if there are many open wounds there,,foods get stuck on it & foods spoiled & microorganisms grow there,have a soft or liquid diet,, soft foods like fruits, foods that can liquefy through your saliva..still you must do oral care daily

you got to go to a dentist, that is the only way , you can go to Tijuana mexico , they have american trained dentists over there who do great work at Mexico prices
