Not really persecuted-- just harassed a lot by Email and Yahoo Messenger.

But I love it! It means some people are paying some attention!

To a certain extent, by family and old friends. By the world depending on where I am.

Definitely not to the extent of the old prophets, or the current missionaries...but enough to make a less mature in faith stop believing.

Christians love to believe they are a persecuted minority. But the members of congress are christian, the president is a christian, "in god we trust" is on the money, and "one nation, under god" is in The Pledge. Polls show that christians outnumber members of other religions, as well as atheists. My god (pardon the pun), how insecure are you people?

Of course, even by my own family. Expect persecution if you are Christian and following Christ. Jesus was right and 2000 yrs later it is still true.

Do you call people hating me because I believe in God persecution? How about people who also believe in God hating me because I do not believe in the Trinity, celebrate pagan holidays, or because I go house to house? How about when people on the internet try to undermine anything I say about the Bible saying that my Bible is not a real Bible? How about people who tell me my religion is a dangerous cult because they are afraid of facing within themselves the strength needed to worship God in purity? You tell me.

Not at all. There are people who don't necessarily want to be close friends, but I have been told that they respect the way I conduct myself.....they admire the fact that I have beliefs and I try to adhere to them.

You will be if you post anything about being a Christian on Yahoo answers. So be prepared!

:(

Yes. ...In a Catholic high school.

I've been isolated, made fun of, & been made to cry (later, at home). It's been very hard, trying to be IN the world but not OF the world. I'm not completely perfect (heh heh, FAR from it!), but I HAVE been persecuted.

Peace!
