You should wait for boys. You have a lot of time left for that. Just have fun being a kid while you still can.

*UPDATE*

After reading one of the above answers, I had to come back and reanswer. You are a child. Don't even think about having sex. I don't know how that even got brought up by some people, but DON'T! Sex is some thing that is sacred and you should always wait to experience it with the person you end up marrying. Also, remember that boys will try to get you to do things that you won't be ready for. Be strong and hold your ground. If you say no and a boy won't stop, beat the crap out of him. Always remember that no means no. Good luck. And don't forget to be a kid and have fun, no matter what.

And how old is he? It is not ok if he is older than 16 and it is not ok if you and the boyfriend do what adults do(sex). If your boyfriend is 16 or above, then you better show him this answer because it is against the law for a 16 year old to date a child(and by definition, you are a child), he'll end up getting charged with statuatory rape and get prison time, etc. You do not want this to happen to anyone, so make sure that you have friends, but not a boyfriend who could go to prison for liking you.....

I think it's okay if you think that it's okay and you think you can handle it. It's really your decision. You may run into problems, though. You might fight over nothing, or one of you may find the relationship more boring than you thought it would be. All of those problems are the reasons that adults say wait until you're older and more mature, because those problems can cause break ups that might not of happened had the two of you been older and wiser, and when you break up you'll be all sad and down, and adults just figure that you should just wait until you're older so you won't have to feel that way.

i am 12 going on 13> and i dont have a boyfriend~listen boys r stupid around this time of age~not to be mean, but it is true. Not all of them ,but it is very rare. If i was you i would wait until you get a little bit older. Sround your self with friends and just stick with having crushes not relationships.

I don't think so, you are still young and have many other wonderful things to explore. But do have lots of friends and
go out...You will know when time is right for a relationship..
I just don't think at your age this should be a priority.

I'd say it is ok just as long as he is no older than 13, but I dont think you should be having sex. I would wait at least a few years

yeah. completely fine. Just don't be sexually active. And if you do, then use a condom. And ask your mom and dad first. You're 11 though. Not like you're getting married...yeah...<33.

If your parents don't mind you using the phone.
That will probably be your most common point of contact.
