As far as I know, you can apply to a college but you need proof of legal residency. And there is no financial aid available for illegal or legal foreign students available. The only financial aid that would be available would be scholarships or a sponsorship from a particular organization. I don't know if you have to be a legal resident to apply for those.

What Hold em Rox Said

Imagine This Scenario

Two 19 Year Old Women
Have Been Next Door Neighbors For 10 Years
Theve Been Friends All These Years
Theyve Attended The Same Public HS
And Are Now Attending The Same College
And Studying The Same Coarses

One Of Those Young Women
(Or Her Parents)
Is Paying THOUSANDS And THOUSANDS Of Dollars
For Her Education

The Other Young Woman Is Attending The Same School
Studying The Same Courses
Yet Her Education Gets Paid For By The State
Funded By Taxpayer Monies
And Costs Her And Her Parents NOTHING

The REASON
That One Family Pays SO MUCH For That Education
Is Because A Portion Of Her Tuition
SUBSIDIZES The Cost Of The Education Of The Other

Understand??
The First Young Ladies Parents
Are Actually Paying For BOTH Educations

The ILLEGAL Alien Gets Educated
The State Gets Paid
The School Gets Paid
And The Only One Gettin SCREWED
Is The TAXPAYER Thats Educating His Daughter

Here, the last time I heard, illegals can not get government assistance for college but I think that it is good if you want to go. I just don't think that we should have to pay for it.

yes. most states give "in state tuition" to them as a rebellion against the "oppressive administration" that is currently serving.

the sad fact is, everybody that wishes to attend the university must undergo testing. many universities have waived the requirement for SATs and so on.
