what should you do if your sims character turns gay?

Find him/her a same-sex partner! No reason they shouldn't get to be happy, too :-)

Maxis made it so sims have attraction for other sims of the opposite sex. You can change that, but the game won't do it on it's own. Maxis took away the option of having the blur when the sims were showering because some people thought it was wrong to see a naked sim.... can you imagine what would happen if Maxis made the sims just be gay? The homophobics would be banning the game and marching in protest. If you decided to make your sim gay... then just let them be gay... diversity is a wonderful thing.

Here's the thing... I play the sims a LOT. Like an un-normal amout. I'm a sims addict. And over my hours and hours of playing the sims... I have never had a character be gay unless I forced it. So... My guess is that... you must have wanted that character to be gay.

I agree with oneInthemorning, you have to tell them to do things with a sim of the same sex in order for them to become gay. My uncles used to play sims and create people they knew, and they'd make them gay just for fun. Anyways, yeah, if they're doing it without you telling them to, go under options, and turn off Free-Will.

i think you should do nothing just let it become who it wants to be.
if it wants to be gay let it just don't let yourself become gay if your sims person is.
