So then you quite dont could desire to bathe it any. additionally in case you do wash it, it wont exchange the hilights your hair has been stripped. despite if, the chemical components in shampoos could have some form of effect on the situation/well being of your hair. Exception although- in the construction you utilize the dark pink shampoo that helps rid you of that brassy shade- your hair will turn pink! the place the highlights have been. Shampoo made for colored hair. The salon probably had the best stuff for the job; some of the ones at the other stores aren't that great at protecting the color.

The Redken Extreme line is great for highlighted hair. Bleach takes the protein out of your hair to lighten it, and the Extreme line will help repair your hair by putting protein back into it; it won't make it darker though.

If you got blonde highlights - buy Sheer Blonde by John Frieda. If you got other colors, or lowlights and such, get this highlight stuff called Vive by L'oreal, it's in a red bottle and it's great.

Pureology. Some of the fragrances are not that pleasant, but my color never fades. Also, get the conditioner with peppermint in it (HEAVENLY!!) Makes your scalp tingle and feel amazing!!
