That depends on how long ago 8th grade was. If it was like a year or two ago, then she probably still likes you to some degree, so go for it, but if 8th grade was back in the 50's or something, then stop being desperate already.

Depends...do you like her too? If so, go for it. If not, be gentle. Let her down easy. She'll get over it eventually. That's the thing about crushes: they are nice until you actually get to know the person. I've had many relationships like that. Reality isn't as exciting as your imagination.

just tell her. she might just feel the same way about you. just a couple months ago i told the guy who i've been in love with my whole life the way i felt and now we're together. we are very happy too. so just tell her exactly how you feel and hope for the best.
